The crash happened just after midnight Wednesday at the intersection of 15th Street and Susquehanna Avenue.
Police say it appears that the scooter driver hit the rear door of the 4-door pick up and slid under the vehicle. Rescue crews had to inflate the bottom of the truck to extricate the victim.
The victim was then transported to the hospital with multiple injuries and is listed in stable condition.
