2 wanted for attempted break-in at South Street bike shop

GRADUATE HOSPITAL - July 18, 2012

Cameras were rolling at 3:15 a.m. on June 27, 2012 as the suspects approached the Bicycle Therapy Bike Shop, located at 2211 South Street.

One of the suspects can be seen attempting to gain access to the store by using a punch tool to break the front window. The window cracked but did not shatter. The same suspect then kicked the window, but that was unsuccessful as well.

The suspects fled the scene empty handed, but not before causing $27,000 in damage due to the broken windows of the store front.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 6'0", thin build, wearing a black jacket with a hood, light colored baseball cap, dark pants, and white sneakers with black soles.

The second suspect is described as a black male, wearing a navy blue "North Face" jacket with the logo on the rear shoulder, dark blue jeans with rips on the front right pocket and both rear pockets.

If you have any information about this crime or the identity of the suspects you are urged to contact police. To submit a tip via telephone, dial 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.
