TODAY: An area of low pressure is moving through our area from the south. There's a plume of moisture and we could see 1-2 inches of rainfall today and tonight. A potent cold front approaches from the west later tonight. You can expect scattered showers this morning and afternoon. There may be a time with quite a lull in precipitation. Later today, some strong thunderstorms may develop. We could see damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Watch for the potential for severe weather later this evening and tonight. Our high: 79.

WEDNESDAY: The rain will end overnight Tuesday. If you're waking up early Wednesday you will still deal with wet roads. In the wake of the storm system, it will turn sunny, breezy and cooler. By the afternoon it will be less humid. 72.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and cool. High 73.

FRIDAY: We'll have another beautiful day with partly sunny skies. High: 76.

SATURDAY: Fall arrives on Saturday at 10:49am. We'll have a mix of sun and clouds with the chance for a shower. High 79.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of some showers. High: 72.

MONDAY: It will be cooler with mostly sunny skies. High: 68.
