Salon owner Giovanni Mele is offering $25 haircuts and $20 blow-dry's on Sunday, October 28, 2012.
And 100% of the money will be donated to the Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health'sFund for Living.
Mele says it's his way of helping and honoring his dear friend and business partner, Joan Pileggi.
He explains, "She was diagnosed with breast cancer and I wanted for myself and the staff to make a contribution to her for the breast cancer."
The special pricing will be offered from noon until 4:00 p.m. Appointments will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
And while it's the customers who will be getting a price break, it's women battling breast cancer who will see the benefits.
Colleen Daley of the Foundation explains, "We give this money to the hospitals and they usually have a nurse navigator that works with a patient and this helps women with items the insurance companies don't pay for or state or federal funding don't cover."
