It happened just after 10:30 p.m. in the 7100 Roosevelt Boulevard.
SEPTA officials say the Route 14 bus was travelling south and stopped to pick up passengers.
Authorities say that's when a group of teenagers approached that bus and the Route 50 and began to throw rocks.
Several windows were broken and there was body damage to the bus.
There were a few passengers onboard and the driver but no one was injured.
The group of teens fled the scene on foot.
SEPTA believe that one of the buses had surveillance cameras and are checking for footage.
Philadelphia Police are investigating but have made no arrests.
