The Philadelphia Flyers will hold an open practice for fans on Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

The team says the event, which is free, is part of a "thank you" to fans following the lockout.

While the event is free, tickets will be required for admission. The event starts at 6:00 p.m.

Flyers Broadcaster Steve Coates will emcee the practice, explaining player drills taking place on the ice and assist with interaction between players and fans.

Those free tickets will be available at starting at 12:00 p.m. Monday.

The Flyers begin their season on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. against the Pittsburg Penguins here at home.
