The fire started around 11:30 p.m. Sunday inside an apartment building on Kensington Avenue.
The four victims suffered smoke inhalation and were rushed to Temple University Hospital for treatment.
Three other people were forced out of their homes and are now being helped by the American Red Cross.
It took about 45 minutes to get the fire under control.
Officials say a portable electric heater caught fire, sparking the blaze.
