Woman found in Delaware River revived by police

Woman revived after water rescue

Rescuers revived a woman who was found in the Delaware River at Fishtown.

It was at 9:07 a.m. Saturday when rescuers were called to the location behind the Sugar House Casino for a woman in the water.

When they were able to pull her out of the river, the woman was unresponsive.

However, police on the scene performed CPR and revived her.

She was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where she is in critical condition.

There was no word on how she ended up in the river.
