It happened around 3:30 Saturday afternoon on Route 422 eastbound near the Armand Hammer Interchange.
Authorities say multiple vehicles were involved in a crash in a construction zone.
One person, who was riding a motorcycle, was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead upon arrival.
No word on the victim's identity.
Police are still investigating what sparked the accident.
