Group sues New Jersey for criteria for post-Sandy grants

TRENTON, N.J. - September 11, 2013

Cherry Hill-based Fair Share Housing Corp. filed the suit Wednesday.

The Attorney General's Office declined to comment.

Fair Share says it asked for the documents on July 31 under the Open Public Records Act but the state has twice requested additional time to comply.

Fair Share says it can't help people who have been denied grants in federally funded programs worth $850 million until it has more data about why they may have been denied.
