Man fighting for his life after Frankford shooting

PHILADELPHIA - November 11, 2013

The shooting occurred around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of Griscom and Arrott Street.

Police arrived to find a 28-year-old man unconscious on the highway suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital for surgery and is listed in critical condition.

Witnesses said the suspect fled southbound on Frankford Avenue in an older model white Pontiac Bonneville.

The victim's name has not been released.
