Stafford Township police arrested Kenneth Novak Tuesday.
Investigators say he sold a prescription narcotic to Matthew Georgi.
An autopsy had found that drug contributed to Georgi's death in September.
Novak is the third alleged dealer charged for an overdose death in Ocean County this year.
