It happened around 5:10 p.m. on the 2200 block of West 3rd Street.
Authorities say the woman suffered a head wound. She was rushed to Crozer-Chester Medical Center for treatment.
No arrests have been made.
Police are looking into whether or not the victim was the intended target.
