It happened around 11:00 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of South 58th Street.
Police say a 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy were shot in the legs.
Both were taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition.
Police say an 18-year-old male has been taken into custody.
Though it appears to be accidental, authorities say, the suspect will be charged.
