Fire damages offices in Chadds Ford

Firefighters battled a blaze on the second floor of a three-story building in Chadds Ford, Chester County Friday morning.

Crews responded at 11:45 a.m. to the 500 block of Kennett Pike and quickly doused the fire inside the home, which had been converted into offices.

A PECO crew also responded to deal with wires and branches that had fallen down.

It is unknown at this time if the downed wires were what caused the fire.

No one was injured in the incident.

The fire marshal is investigating.
