It happened on the 500 block of North Rodney Street around 1:00 Sunday afternoon.
Police found the victim, 41-year-old Kevin Banner, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
Officers administered CPR however Banner was taken to Christiana Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No word on a possible motive.
Police are still searching for suspects.
