The fire broke out around 1:15 a.m. Monday on the 100 block of Washington Lane.
The flames began in one twin house and quickly spread to a second.
The fire was placed under control by 2:30 a.m.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross says they will provide whatever assistance the family of five may need.
