Suspect wanted in attempted robbery in Hunting Park

Philadelphia police are looking for a man who robbed a fast food restaurant in the city's Hunting Park section Tuesday afternoon.

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a man who robbed a fast food restaurant in the city's Hunting Park section Tuesday afternoon.



It happened just after 1 p.m. at Popeye's Chicken located on the 4200 block of North Broad Street



Police say a 30 year-old female employee was behind the counter when the suspect approached.





He has his hand in his pocket to simulate a gun and demanded money.



The clerk refused his demands and the robber fled the restaurant empty handed.



Police describe the suspect as a black male, 30-50 years-old, 5'7" tall with a thin build and salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a black jacket, light gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, tan boots.
