Police arrest suspects prior to attempted bank robbery

CLAYMONT, Del (WPVI) -- Police in Claymont, Delaware arrested two bank robbery suspects.

Officers say they made the arrests after interrupting an attempted hold up at the Wells Fargo on Naamans Road shortly after noon Monday.

Police also recovered a gun.

Detectives have not released names or charges yet, but they do believe the two suspects are behind a string of other bank heists.
