Billy Joel returning to Citizens Bank Park in July

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Piano Man will sing a song in Philadelphia again - a whole concert in fact!

For the third year in a row, Billy Joel will perform at Citizens Bank Park in South Philadelphia.

The concert will be held on Saturday, July 9th.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 29th at 10 a.m.

The Philadelphia Phillies and Live Nation made the announcement Thursday.

"This will be the fifth time that legendary artist Billy Joel will take to the stage, where he will once again have the distinct honor of performing at Citizens Bank Park more often than any other entertainer," Michael Stiles, Phillies Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, said in statement

Joel will also become the first artist ever to perform three years in a row at the Philadelphia stadium.
