Body found in Delaware River in Burlington Twp., N.J.

BURLINGTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police are trying to get to the bottom of a gruesome mystery.

A body was discovered Thursday in the Delaware River in Burlington Township.

The body was spotted just after 12:00 p.m. near River Road.

Right now police are only saying that the body belonged to a man and that there were no obvious signs of trauma.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office is helping with the investigation.
