Bomb threat leads to school evacuation in Montgomery County

FRANCONIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Montgomery County junior high school was evacuated Thursday after a threatening note was found in a bathroom.

It was around 1:00 p.m. when Franconia Township police responded to the report of a bomb threat at the Indian Crest Junior High School in Franconia.

Police tell Action News a suspicious message was found in a boys restroom.

The school was evacuated as a precaution and then dismissed for the day.

Police used dogs to search the school.

So far, no word on the exact contents of the note or who penned it.
