Woman, 80, dies in Brewerytown fire

BREWERYTOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia firefighters discovered the body of an 80-year-old woman inside a Brewerytown home.

Fire broke out around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday on the 1400 block of North Hollywood Street.

It took firefighters 15 minutes to get the fire under control.

While searching the home, the firefighters found the woman on the living room floor.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
