Will video game reveal Bryce Harper's team?
The Bryce Harper rumors are reaching a fever pitch.
There is speculation that the superstar free agent will make his choice official this week.
And the Philadelphia Phillies are still one of the most talked-about teams.
Harper will be on the cover of "MLB The Show '19" video game.
The new version doesn't come out until March, but the makers are hinting at a big reveal Tuesday.
"You'll want to keep an eye on this account tomorrow... just saying," the "MLB The Show" Twitter account said.
That sparked social media chatter on which hat or jersey Harper will be wearing in the photo.
Earlier this month, Phillies owner John Middleton and general manager Matt Klentak met with Harper in Las Vegas.
"I think it was really positive," Middleton said. "We really got to see the man. We watched the player for years, but we got to understand the man, what he'd be like in the dugout, the clubhouse, the community."
"It was really impressive to spend time with him, know him better, answer his questions, we got to ask him some questions, learn about him," said Klentak. "I think that's a really important step in any negotiation, is kind of understanding what the other party is looking for - and now we'll see where it takes us."
Harper, 26, is one of the younger players ever to hit free agency with an MVP and six All-Star appearances on his resume.
