FALLS TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Bucks County have arrested a man for at least two burglaries in Falls Township and say he may be responsible for more.

Steven Herrmann is facing charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Receiving Stolen Property.

Around 8 p.m. Thursday, Falls Township police were called to the 800 block of Edgemont Lane for a burglary.

The victim told arriving officers she was home when she thought she heard the front door slam shut. When she went over to the door, she found it was unlocked. Later, she noticed an iPad, a diamond studded ring, and a gold chain were missing.

The victim was able to show investigators an exact duplicate of the ring.

On Friday, police reported to a pawn shop on the 400 block of West Trenton Avenue in Morrisville.

The clerk checked his records and discovered that a ring and necklace matching the descriptions of the stolen items were pawned at his shop by Herrmann the day before.

The victim identified the items as hers.

Investigators say records show Herrmann was previously arrested for a theft from a car in Fairless Hills.

Police say Herrmann is suspected to have committed numerous burglaries in Falls Township, Bristol Township, Lower Makefield, and Morrisville.

Police say they are awaiting DNA results for those crimes to see if they match the suspect.
