3 arrested in burglary ring across Delaware Valley

WHITPAIN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say they have broken up a burglary ring that has targeted dozens of homes across the Delaware Valley.

Anthony Jones' front door is boarded up and he's out of tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry and other valuables.

It was May 16th and Jones was in London for work. That's when, authorities say, Shron Linder was captured on the home's doorbell cam breaking into the house on the unit block of Greystone in Marple Township.

"I don't know, with an inside tip if they knew where my safe was," Jones said.

A month earlier, a home on the 400 block of Newtown Street Road was also burglarized.

Authorities caught Linder, Kebbie Ramseur, and Jarrel Jaynes allegedly trying to break into a home in Whitpain Monday night.

They are now are trying to connect them to dozens of break-ins across the tri-state area over the past year.

Investigators conducted four search warrants Tuesday, including one at a home on the 300 block of Edmonds in Drexel Hill where Linder has been living.

"We've recovered some items in our search warrant this morning. I haven't had a chance to look yet. I know there are some high end pocketbooks, jewelry, watches and whatnot," Marple Police Chief Tom Murray said.

Detectives across the region began to see similarities in the cases, piecing together a puzzle that they say led to Linder's crew.

"We were able to within the last two weeks get a court orders to put on several vehicles, those tracking devices were then monitored," Chief Murray said.

The total number of crimes allegedly committed by the crew is still not tallied, but victims like Jones are grateful for the hard work by police.

"My hope is some of the people get their stuff back," Jones said.

The suspects are charged with attempted burglary, loitering and other related offenses.
