Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle in Medford

MEDFORD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Medford, Burlington County.

The accident occurred around 9:15 a.m. Sunday on Church Road in the area of Trotter Drive.

Investigators say the driver of a Hyundai Sante Fe struck a 34-year-old woman.

The victim suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the striking vehicle did stop at the scene and was not harmed.

Medford Township Police are investigating.
