CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police have released surveillance video of two men sought in connection with a murder in the lobby of an apartment building in Camden.
Prosecutors say the shooting was reported around 11:25 p.m. Friday at the Northgate I Apartments.
Officers responding to reports of shots fired there found 19-year-old Camden resident Johnathan Simmons lying in the rear lot of the building. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say two 'persons of interest,' who ran from the scene and traveled south on North 6th Street, were captured by surveillance cameras as they went through the DRPA tunnel beneath the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
They then continued onto Penn Street by Rutgers University-Camden.
One individual was a black male wearing a lightweight striped Hollister hooded sweatshirt, light colored shorts and a light colored boonie hat. The other was a black male wearing a black Nike shirt, light colored pants and a dark baseball cap.
