Caribbean cuisine week across Center City

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- It's good food, for a good deal, for a good cause!

Caribbean Cuisine Week begins on Wednesday at restaurants across Center City Philadelphia.

About a dozen local restaurants are offering special pricing on high-end meals.

A portion of the proceeds helping 700 economically disadvantaged high school athletes participating in the Penn Relays.

Mixto on Ping Street is just one of the restaurants on board. For $33 you get your choice of an appetizer, main course and dessert.

The event runs from Wednesday through Friday.
