Cat saves boy from vicious dog attack

A California boy has his pet cat to thank for saving him as a dog viciously attacked.

This surveillance shows the boy playing in his Bakersfield driveway.

A dog comes around the SUV and grabs his leg.

Seconds later, the family cat runs over and tackles the dog, even chasing it away.

The boy ended up needing stitches, but he was otherwise fine, thanks to that cat.

The dog in this video is now under observation by animal control.
