Pedestrian struck by car in front of Philadelphia Museum of Art

One person was struck by a car in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was struck by a car in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Police were called to the Ben Franklin Parkway near Eakins Oval around 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Center City Philadelphia.

A pedestrian was trying to cross the Ben Franklin Parkway when they were hit by a car, police say.

The victim was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for minor injuries. They are expected to be OK.

The driver did stop at the scene.
