Chester police chase ends in Delaware

CHESTER Pa. (WPVI) -- A Chester police pursuit ended on I-495 in Delaware.

Chester police notified Delaware State Police they were crossing into the state chasing a burgundy van just after 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Chester police said the passenger was believed to be armed.

They stopped the vehicle and took two people into custody a short time later in the area of I-495 South and Governor Printz Boulevard.

It is not yet clear why the chase began.
