Action News has learned a 28-year-old man suffered severe injuries to his leg in a dog attack early this morning in Chester, Pennsylvania.

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Action News has learned a 28-year-old man suffered severe injuries to his leg in a dog attack early Friday morning in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Sources say Shamir Graves was walking near 3rd and Lloyd Street at 1:30 when he was attacked by two Cain Corso dogs.

The dogs dragged Graves a full city block.

Officers say when they approached the scene, one of the dogs turned at them.

An officer opened fire, killing one dog, and injuring the other.

The injured dog was turned over to the Delco SPCA.
