UPPER CHICHESTER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A Delaware County man is facing charges for possessing and disseminating child pornography.
Authorities say during a search of his home, 42-year-old Walter Irwin of Upper Chichester admitted to possessing child pornography on his computer at several points in time, but told detectives that he removed the file sharing program from his computer.
Following a forensic examination, detectives found 39 images and 11 videos of child pornography on Irwin's electronic devices.
Irwin is charged with possession and dissemination of child pornography and the sexual abuse of child, felonies of the second degree, and criminal use of a communications facility, a felony of the third degree.
He was released on $150,000 unsecured bail and placed him on electronic home monitoring with GPS.
He was ordered to surrender his passport, have no internet access, no contact with minors and to complete a psychological and sexual evaluation.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 23.
