Girl, 11, shot and wounded in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- An 11-year-old was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 3:25 p.m. in the 700 block of West Luzerne Street.

The child was walking home from school when she was hit.

Police say they are looking for a man wearing a black skull cap and a black shirt with a brown dragon printed on the front.

The girl is at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in stable condition.
