Christina Grimmie's family has released a statement thanking fans for their support in the weeks following the singer's tragic shooting death.

In a statement on their GoFundMe page, the Medford, New Jersey singer's mother, father and brother said that the "outpouring of love and generosity... has far exceeded anything we could have imagined."

As of Thursday, nearly $200,000 had been raised for the family.

"As we have always known, Christina's life was so very special, not only to us, but to everyone she touched with her joyful heart, beautiful voice and love for life and the Lord. Words cannot express what the many memorials, donations and tributes shared by Christina's fans and those in the media and entertainment industry mean to us," they wrote. "She will live on in our hearts forever. We will take our time in determining the best ways to honor Christina moving forward. Thank you."

The former "Voice" contestant, 22, was fatally shot by an obsessed fan after a concert in Orlando, Florida, on June 11.

A few days later, she was laid to rest in New Jersey, where she grew up. The funeral was paid for by Adam Levine, who mentored her on "The Voice."
