NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA -- A two-alarm fire broke out inside a church in Northeast Philadelphia on Tuesday.

The fire was reported at the Segunda Iglesia Bautista Church in the 4900 block of Frankford Avenue at 2:36 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the rear of the building.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed a number of firefighters attacking the fire through the roof.

The fire was placed under control in less than 50 minutes.

Investigators say contractors were working on the roof with a torch when the fire started.
