Much needed renovations are coming to a Philadelphia rec center

LAWNDALE (WPVI) -- Much needed renovations are coming to a local recreational center.

The action cam was in the city's Lawndale section Wednesday, for the announcement of a $200,000 dollar grant for the Tarken Recreation Center.

The money will help fund renovation projects at the center.

State Representative Jared Solomon, State Senator Christine Tartaglione and City Councilwoman Cherelle Parker were on hand for the announcement.
