Action News family joined community members for neighborhood cleanup in Germantown
The Waterview Recreation Center is playing an important role in the city's battle against COVID-19.
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- On Saturday, members of the 6abc Action News family joined the community to take part in Philadelphia Parks and Recreation's Love Your Park Fall Service Day.
Action News members joined the Black Clergy Community Clean Up at the Waterview Recreation Center in the city's Germantown section.
Action News' Sharrie Williams, Corey Davis, and 6abc President and General Manager Bernie Prazenica were just a few who gathered at the recreation center.
Together they collected trash and debris to make the recreation space more welcoming and beautiful.
The Waterview Recreation Center is playing an important role in the city's battle against COVID-19.
It hosted the city's first vaccine clinic for children ages 5 to 11 this week.
