Police: Driver crashes into building, flees on foot in Feltonville

FELTONVILLE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Feltonville.

The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Saturday at 5th Street and Roosevelt Boulevard.

Police said they responded to reports of a driver out of the vehicle, acting out of control.

Upon arrival, they found a vehicle that struck a bridge abutment.

The driver fled the scene, leaving the other occupants in the vehicle, police said.

So far, no word if the driver has been located.
