SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in South Philadelphia has been cleared.
It happened at 5:45 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes near the Front Street exit.
Police tell Action News three vehicles collided, trapping at least one person in the wreckage.
There was no immediate word on the number or extent of injuries.
Traffic was backed up approaching the scene for several hours as police investigated and crews cleared the wreckage.
The northbound lanes were finally cleared by 11 a.m.
