Crash involving school bus closes part of N. Broad St. in East Oak Lane

EAST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- First responders are on the scene of a crash involving a school bus in East Oak Lane.

It happened at 1:30 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of North Broad Street and Chelten Avenue.

Police tell Action News a school bus with a number of students on board struck a parked vehicle.

The bus and the other vehicle ended up on the sidewalk.

No serious injuries are reported, but all the students have been taken to Einstein Medical Center to be checked out.

North Broad Street has been shut down between the 6200 and 6400 blocks as police investigate.

So far no charges have been filed.
