UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man was killed in a 2-vehicle crash in Upper Darby, and police say the driver of the other vehicle involved was wanted for violating probation.

Chopper 6 HD was over the scene at the intersection of Belfield Avenue and Route 1 around 6:30 a.m.

Officials say the victim, 68-year-old David Powers, was driving an Acura sedan when he pulled out onto Route 1 from Belfield Avenue and was struck by a Dodge pickup truck traveling south.

Powers died at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken Delaware County Memorial Hospital.

There was no immediate word on his condition, but police say he consented to have blood tests done.

Police also discovered there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest because of a parole violation.
