PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Some intersections in South Philadelphia will soon be getting makeovers in the name of safety.

Mural Arts Philadelphia and the South of South Neighborhood Association unveiled new ground murals Friday.

Artist Calo Rosa designed them to protect people crossing the street by making crosswalks more visible to drivers.
