Two people suffered serious injuries after a two vehicle collision in Croydon, Bucks County.

CROYDON, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two people suffered serious injuries after a two vehicle collision in Croydon, Bucks County.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. Friday on Newportville Road and Hilary Avenue.

Authorities say a Hyundai travelling north on Newportville Road crossed the center line and collided with a Ford Windstar, that was going in the opposite direction.

The impact of the crash briefly trapped both drivers. It took more than 10 minutes for crews to free them.

Both victims were taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Hyundai is listed in critical condition while the driver of the Windstar is stable.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are still investigating the crash.
