Quick work by a group of Delaware firefighters saved the lives of two dogs trapped in their burning home.

WILMINGTON MANOR, Del. (WPVI) -- Quick work by a group of Delaware firefighters saved the lives of two dogs trapped in their burning home.



The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Bacon Avenue in Wilmington Manor.



The fire broke out while the owners were not home.



Crews were able to put out the flames and rescued the pups.



Despite being frightened and thirsty, the dogs gave each other a quick nuzzle before drinking lots of water.



It's not clear how the fire started.
