Tractor-trailer carrying produce overturns on I-95

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- An overturned tractor-trailer shut down part of I-95 in Newark, Delaware.

It happened around 9:45 a.m. Sunday. The highway remained closed nearly 12 hours following the incident.

Officials say a tractor-trailer carrying produce was traveling northbound on SR-896 merging onto I-95 northbound.

For undetermined reasons, the driver of the tractor-trailer overturned on the on-ramp.

No injuries have been reported.
