Tynesia Cephas died in the shooting that happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Kirkwood Street.

Police say Tynesia was shot multiple times in the chest.

She was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to her injuries.

The mother and brother of Tynesia say they just want to know the truth.

They're calling on the shooter to step forward.

"I hope that whoever the guy is, he can find it in his heart to turn himself in, or if somebody turns him in, because it's really heavy on us right now," said Tyzell Cephas.
