Body pulled from Delaware River in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials in Delaware County retrieved a body from the Delaware River Tuesday evening.

The body was discovered shortly before 5:30 p.m. in the water in the area of 1201 West Front Street in Chester City.

Marine units were dispatched recover the victim.

Police have not released any information pertaining to the identity of the deceased.

So far, no word on the cause of death.
