Extreme heat can be very dangerous.
The city has taken precautions for residents and visitors here for the Democratic National Convention.
The city has also posted an interactive map showing where you can find cooling centers, pools and spray parks across the city.

The Salvation Army is distributing bottled water and at FDR Park, there are two medical tents, plenty of water, and also two misting tents.
Everyone needs to take precautions and watch for signs of trouble.
Signs of heat exhaustion include:
Profuse sweating,
Headaches,
Dizziness,
Fatigue
Cool, clammy skin.
If you have these symptoms get to cool place, drink water.
EMS crews will be out around city helping keep an eye on people.
